Time to start something new..

Of late I've been pondering about something we all have been blessed with.. EQUALLY. Be it Einstein, Shakespeare, Indira Gandhi, you or me. Yeah.. you guessed it right.. "Time".
24 hours in a day..no less no more..To rewind a bit.. my typical day starts at 5.30 A.M sharp with my alarm ringing out. I've my class at 7.30AM to 9.00 AM. Then I'm free for two whole hours. After which again I've another 2hours of class which ends at 1 PM. Then the rest of my day am free to do anything i please.
I travel by metro.. Quite pleasantly I've a 40min journey during which i get peaceful time to read novels(extremely glad). Then during the break between my classes.. i surf the net for news, do a little bit of socializing.. reply to mails etc. And the journey back again flies while I'm engrossed in my novel. To me.. travelling my metro is truly a blessing in disguise. Else no matter how much i try.. i would never be able to get 5 min to read my book without any interruptions.
Anyways back to my point.. so till 1 PM I've utilised my time efficiently. The question is what to do once I'm back. Until today i used to sleep for about an hour.. then chat with my mil, read the newspaper.. discuss news etc. By then it would be time for our evening cup of hot tea and snacks. And after that tea break.. i really have no clue what hogs my time. Before i know.. its time to go to bed and prepare for tomorrow.
I mean.. Are you adding any value to your life? Are you making any difference to anybody else's life? Are you adding value to your life itself? i want to use every second of my life doing something that is worthwhile. It then dawned on me that i should in fact restart my blogging. This is something which i always wanted to do.. talk about life... share experiences.. collaborate...but always kept procrastinating. No more.....
There is this sudden revelation that I've Only one life. Only one chance. And that i must enjoy life when its possible as best as i can. And that i mustn't regret when i look back at 60, that there were so many things i could've done when i was free. As someone truly said..
"Doing what you like is Freedom, But Liking what you do is Happiness".
I've now started doing various things from today... and i can feel the difference. I feel I'm doing justice to myself by making complete use of time wisely. Its never to too late to start anything. Its never a wrong time to try out anything new. It never hurts to give a chance to do something you have always wanted to to. Time is never going to present itself before you and tell you "Here I'm.. 2 hrs of free time.. go jogging now" You need to make time for yourself. We all live in the illusion that if i do that something which i want to do.. say 30 min .. then I'll have to spend an extra 30 min on what you have compromised with. For eg. You work till 7.00 PM everyday. And you feel you have no time to go to the gym in your office. I'd say go gymming for 30 min. And finish your work with double the speed. And you'll be surprised that your mind will start working with the goal that you have 30 min less time and you have to finish it by 7.00 PM no matter what. And you will. Its all in the mind. Everything falls into place. Plus happiness increases productivity. When you're happy it shows. It has worked for me.. and I'm sure it 'll definitely work for you too..Be Happy!
