Delhi Calling........

Well here Iam.. in the capital city of Delhi...Delhi was calling out to me.. or to be more precise... it was my husband's call..to join him in our new life together.... another of the reasons why i havent blogged since ages. :)

So on the D-Day in Cochin.. i tied the knot to my sweetheart... and in the presence of almost all of our friends and relatives, he literally swept me off my feet ;) Was on the 22nd of February.. a little humid and sultry in Kerala...but when ur on the spotlight... nothing can spoil the fun! Yes...wedding function was quite interesting..everything was obvioulsy new to me...lol.. and the pandits made us do a lot of rituals and mantras.. but on the whole it was very memorable and sweet! :) With my family being there with me to make sure they wont spare me with their teases even on the D-Day.. friends travelling from around the world just to make sure they are there for us .... means the world to me.

And then yes..was the honeymoon..we went to this quintessential beautiful country - Bhutan. I have to dedicate another new post for this..else it would be injustified. Surrounded by mountains, rivers and green pastures... that place was heaven especially after our hectic schedule of functions, parties, receptions, dinners etc... A complete package to relax and enjoy the beauty Bhutan had to offer...

Iám well settled in Delhi now.. getting to know this new place.. new relations.. enjoying some time off before i start to work again. And the ride has been very smooth and sweet till now... Im liking Delhi... especially the Metro.. no words can describe it... You have to experience it to know what it is.. I can go and on.. (maybe I will one day.. when im absolutely jobless ;)) so here im..ending on a musical note.. "Yeh Dilli hai mere yaar..bas ishk mohobbat pyaar" !! :)

What do I really want??

This is one question to which i always try to find the answer to? Some may call it "soul-searching".. some may prefer to call it "inner discovery".. but whatever it is... i really need to find out the answer to this... Every time i try and point it to something... im lost.. i have a 1000 reasons to why it is not what i want to do..or what i want to be....

Is it that difficult to find out what is that you really love? Isnt there atleast one thing in this world that im so passionate about that i would be ready to give up everything for this one thing?Something that inspires me...ignites the fire in me...sets me up....

I dont have the answers to this today.. but one day i will.... one day...soon enough!

Just two words..............It rocks!!!!

This is certainly one movie which should never be missed! Starring Jayam Ravi, Prakash Raj, Genelia, Kausalya, Geetha, Premji Gangai Amaran, directed by Raja, this movie is based on the simple life of a familyof this selfless father who always walks the extra mile to make sure his son gets the very best in life. And in the meantime forgetting to ask if thats what his son really wants. The movie is simply beautiful, well directed and of course well acted by the entire cast. Reco - Must watch! :)

Songs are a bonus..This is a remake of the hit Telugu movie Bommarillu.

Three steps to make you feel good.......

Its 6PM on a sunday evening..and you feel like its the most boring day you have ever had. You want to do a lot of things, but you just don't feel like getting up...You have tried sleeping(thats pretty much what you been doing whole day, reading a book(is not eliciting the right interest, watching friends(by now you have even byhearted the dialogues)...still nothing seems to help...PERFECTLY NATURAL!! Here are my quick easy steps to make u feel much better..

1. Shower. A nice long refreshing bath is like winning half the battle. Makes you feel fresh and clean the moment you step out of your bath.

1. Pull out your faded jeans and a casual T shirt and go for a walk. Preferably alone. Eases your mind...Don't let work or problems creep into your thoughts. Just try and think of all the happy times.

2. A nice big cup of piping hot tea. After the little exercise, having tea sure puts back the zest in you. If you could go meet up with your friends or have them come over...nothing like it!!

By the time you have finished the 2nd step and just started the 3rd am sure you are starting to enjoy . No doubt before you finish sipping your big cuppa, your gonna be ready to flaunt of your usual energetic self....

Even the sky is not the limit!!

The more i think of life...the more i know there is more to it! Its like an enormous plate filled with eatables and it upto you to decide what you wish to feast on! Pick the right ones and you end up with a nice sumptuous meal!!

All it takes the right decisions and belief in your instincts! If anyone can, you can! Even the sky is not the limit......
